こちらの【低フリクション】プーリーベアリングですが、レスポンスアップ・エンジンの静粛性アップなどに効果があります。
ベアリングですが純正品は主に密着ゴムシールのベアリングが採用されています。 密着ゴムシールとは文字通りに、ゴムが回転部分に密着している為に回転抵抗は大きくなります。 とはいえ、シールという蓋が無ければ直ぐにグリスが流出してしまう、またゴミや砂などが混入する事で寿命が極端に低下してしまいます。
当製品はゴムシールと回転部分の間に極小の隙間を設ける事によって、ゴムシール接触分の抵抗が全くありません。 これにより回転抵抗として消費していたエネルギーを有効に利用する事ができる為、燃費などの動作効率やマシンの戦闘力向上に貢献します。 また、シールは表と裏の両側にあり、シールの内側にはベアリングメーカーが最高の耐久力を求めて考案したグリスが封入、グリスの流出を防ぎつつ、ある程度の防水・防塵性能を有しています。
トヨタからもこちらのベアリングは単品で提供されていません。
交換するとなるとＡＳＳＹ交換になり非常に高額です。
